Get ready for another awesome weekend at Summer Weekends at the J! We’ve got swimming, games, and wide-open campgrounds waiting for you. On Saturday, head to ‘Z’ Frank Apachi in Northbrook for an exciting Children’s Theatre Class, then keep the fun going on Sunday at Elaine Frank Apachi in Lake Zurich with mini golf and tie-dye art. Saturdays at ‘Z’ Frank Apachi in Northbrook and Sundays at Elaine Frank Apachi in Lake Zurich.
Led by beloved JCC Early Childhood teacher and experienced gardener, Liz Zetley, children and caregivers will cultivate a sense of wonder and a love of the natural world in this interactive class for the whole family! Perfect for families with children 18-36 months, with older siblings welcome, these sensory-rich, hands-on activities around the garden and grounds of the ‘Z’ Frank Apachi campus provide families a way to connect with one another in nature while exploring how Jewish values come to life all around us. Join us for the entire series or select the dates that best suit your family’s schedule. Saturdays, 9-10am, June 14 -August 9 (no class on July 5). $95 per family for series / $15 per family by class.
That’s right—lunch is on us! We’re excited to bring back free lunch and social time as part of your Community Days experience beginning in July. Starting at 12pm, enjoy a light meal, connect with new friends, and settle in for an afternoon of engaging programs beginning at 12:30pm.
